Monday at DMA2010

Monday is over… and it lived up to its promise! The general session with Larry Kimmel, Bret Michaels, Steve Stoute, and Scott Donaton was packed out and the presentations were a great mix of information, entertainment and engagement. The flow of attendees around the Exhibit Hall and to and from the session rooms seemed to never stop, and session rooms were bursting at the seams in places. The Social Media Face-Off closed the day with a text victory for Brian Solis. All in all it was a great day at DMA2010.

Tomorrow promises much! We start the day off with three more Thought Leadership Series sessions, Jacques Levy of Sephora gives the Keynote presentation, there are the Guru Sessions, Search Engine Marketing Experience, tons more great concurrent sessions, before we round off the day with the final four Thought Leadership Series.

But really tomorrow is all about the Awards! The Marketer of the Year and the Innovation Awards Best in Show are announced before the Keynote in the morning, then Howard Draft and Rance Crain are inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Luncheon, and of course DMA Tuesday wouldn’t be the same without the ECHO Awards. There are two ECHO Spotlight sessions during the day that discuss the trends found in this year’s entrants. Then the evening brings the Awards themselves! The Gala is hosted by CBS star Craig Ferguson, and after the presentations there’s the Party at Temple Bar! You can still get tickets at the ECHO Concierge Desk by the Registration Desk.

So today was awesome! Bring on tomorrow. See you here!!!
